It's easier to focus on what we don't have,
rather than on what we do have. How often do you take time and remember all the
things you should be grateful for and all the people to who you forgot to say
Thank You?
It`s the little things that truly matter:
health, family, friends, pets, access to education, freedom, breathing fresh
air, laughter, and the list could go on and on. You get the point: it`s
endless.
Since tomorrow, 11 January, the International
Thank You Day it`s celebrated worldwide, I challenge you to write down the
first 10 things you are grateful for. Then, write down the people`s names who
made your life better and happier and deserve to be shown some gratitude.
Don`t forget: every day it`s the perfect day to
say Thank You!
"Make it a habit to tell people thank you. To
express your appreciation, sincerely and without the expectation of anything in
return. Truly appreciate those around you, and you'll soon find many others
around you. Truly appreciate life, and you'll find that you have more of it." -
Ralph Marston
